This was another wonderful day! The middle schoolers were full of creativity, fun, and energy! Did I say creativity already?! Wow!
I'm going to miss seeing these great kids. They have already tugged at my heartstrings . What a lucky person I am to have been able to spend these last couple afternoons with such a great group of young artists.
What a great thing, to spread the joy of art. A lot of youngsters never have the opportunity to explore art at home because they don't have the supplies or parental encouragement. Maybe you'll have a convert in the bunch who will remember your impact many years from now ...
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your sweet comment, Barbara. I do believe they enjoyed this project, and I loved watching them explore. Their teacher has put together a wonderful program for them. I'm the third guest artist they have met. They have already done oil painting and felting. I'd love to learn to do felting myself! Thanks again :)
