JAN ABS Frida Necklace

JAN ABS Frida Necklace, originally uploaded by Jill Palumbo.
This Neckpiece is my entry for the January Art Bead Scene Challenge as well as the Progress and Possibilities contest sponsored by the International Polymer Clay Association.  What a wonderful piece the Art Bead Scene authors picked out for their January Challenge!  here   I love the peacocks in the artwork of Jessie Arms Botke. Her piece in oil and gold leaf titled "Black Peacocks with Japanese Persimmons" is magical.  The Art Bead Scene challenges are one of my favorite things.  I am always thankful to be able to play along.  It is so interesting to learn about artists and their work as I am challenged and inspired to dream of designs, colors, styles and meanings in order to create new pieces using my own art beads.  I also enjoy seeing photos of what the other participants create.  Inspiration at every turn!

    Anne
